I'm 39 and I'm not too ashamed to admit…

1. I had three failed businesses before this one took off. I used to think that meant I wasn’t cut out for entrepreneurship. Turns out, it was just part of the path.

2. I compare myself to others more often than I’d like to admit. Even when I’m winning, I sometimes feel like I’m still behind.

3. I still feel mom guilt. Even though I know I’m building something meaningful for my family, it’s hard not to second-guess every tradeoff.

4. My health journey has been anything but linear. Desk work, stress, inconsistent routines—it’s taken a toll. I’m learning to celebrate small wins and keep showing up.

5. I used to believe success would make me feel “safe.” But even with milestones hit and goals achieved, I’ve had to work just as hard on my mindset as my business.

6. I thought building a business would give me more time. It eventually did—but the beginning was messy, exhausting, and full of sacrifice.

7. There were months I made great money… and still didn’t feel like I was doing enough. I had to unlearn a lot of hustle culture to finally feel peace in my work.
